Martavious Boswell Named NJCAA Region 23 Player of the Year, All-Region Team Announced
Jackson, MISS. -- Copiah Lincoln's Martavious Boswell capped off a banner sophomore year by earning NJCAA Region 23's top honors. Boswell, a sophomore running back from Fort Worth, Texas, was voted Region 23 Player of the Year by the region's football coaches. The West Virginia commit rushed for 1,109 yards during the 2025 campaign, putting up 13 touchdowns for the Wolves. Boswell was also named the MACCC South Division Offensive Player of the Year.
Northwest Mississippi Head Coach Benjy Parker was named Region 23 Coach of the Year following the Rangers' victory over Mississippi Gulf Coast, 16-13, to capture the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Football Championship. It was the team's second conference title in so many years. Parker was also voted 2025 MACCC North Division Coach of the Year.
Conference players of the year earned automatic placement on the All-Region team, with other awardees being voted on by the region's head football coaches. The full list of All-Region honorees is below.
