Sophomore Outside Hitter MA East (Brandon) had 37 kills with 3 assists in 13 sets played to help the Indians go 2-1 on the week.
Volleyball - Defense
Riley Pate, Meridian Community College
(SO, L - Kimberly, AL, 10)
Sophomore Riley Pate had a good week defensively for the Lady Eagles. The Kimberly, AL native finished with 47 digs against 3 conference opponents for the week.
Women's Soccer - Offense
Millie Webb, Itawamba Community College
(SO, F - Rugby, England, 10)
Sophomore forward Millie Webb (England) scored four of the Lady Indians' six goals in their 6-0 road win at Calhoun.
Women's Soccer - Goalkeeper
Addison Champagne, Southwest Mississippi Community College
(Fr, GK - St. Amant, LA, 1)
Addison Champagne has been outstanding for the Lady Bears thus far this season and her stellar play continued Tuesday in a 0-0 match at Hinds. Against a tough Eagles team, the freshman from St. Amant, LA held her ground and allowed a clean sheet while recording 12 saves.
Men's Soccer - Offense
Alexander Mink, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College

Alexander Mink, a sophomore midfielder from Long Beach, had four goals during a 1-1 week, including a hat trick to help beat Georgia Military 4-1.
Men's Soccer - Goalkeeper
Brax Rials, Jones College
(So, GK - Pearl, Miss., 1)
Brax Rials went 2-0 in two starts last week, stopping all three shots he faced.
Football - Offense
Gavin Griffin, East Mississippi Community College
(So., RB - Canton, MS, 0)
EMCC sophomore running back Gavin Griffin rushed for a career-high 189 yards and three touchdowns in 23 attempts to power the Lions to a 34-28 home division win over third-ranked Northwest Mississippi. His rushing effort marked the most rushing yards by an EMCC player in a single game since 2013. Griffin's touchdowns were for 53, 1 and 2 yards. After rushing for 29 yards in his first carry of the game, he went on to average 8.2 yards per attempt on the night, including other double-digit runs of 20, 19 and 18 yards. Griffin also caught four passes for 36 receiving yards against the Rangers to reach 225 all-purpose yards in the contest.
Football - Defense
Orel Gray, Itawamba Community College
(SO, DB - Jacksonville, FL, 5D)
Orel Gray (Jacksonville, FL) didn't have a lot of tackles but he two of the biggest plays of the night in the Indians' 23-14 road win at East Central. The sophomore DB had 2 tackles, with a sack, a forced fumble that he recovered and tipped a pass to himself for an interception.
Football - Special Teams
Eli Burciaga, Itawamba Community College
(SO, K - Corinth, MS, 82)
Eli Burciaga (Corinth) finished a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals (22, 28, 36 yards) and 2-for-2 on extra points, accounting for 11 points.
