2024 Football Postseason Individual Awards
JACKSON, Miss. – Student-athletes from Northwest Mississippi, Jones, Itawamba, East Mississippi and Mississippi Gulf Coast claimed individual awards as the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) announced its 2024 players of the year. The honorees were voted on by the conference's 14 head football coaches.
Jones had two individual award winners in the South Division, as defensive lineman Kelten Michell was named South Defensive Player of the Year and kicker Christian Baglione was named South Special Teams Player of the Year.
Northwest Mississippi running back D'Mariun Perteet was the choice of the head coaches for North Offensive Player of the Year, while Mississippi Gulf Coast running back Trey Hall was named as South Offensive Player of the Year.
Itawamba defensive back Dylan Rowsey was tabbed North Defensive Player of the Year, and East Mississippi return specialist Chasden Collins rounded out the individual awards as North Special Teams Player of the Year.
Northwest Mississippi Head Coach Benjy Parker and East Central Head Coach Jonathan Webster were voted North and South Coaches of the Year by the conference's head coaches.
