MACCC Women's Soccer Players of the Week Announced

Jackson, Miss. (MACCCAthletics.com) -- The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Baseball, Softball and Men's and Women's Soccer Players of the Week have been named following breakout performances in last week’s games.

The selections are made by a 15-member panel. This week’s awardees are:

WOMEN'S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER - Kendyl Terrell, Jones College, Freshman

Kendyl Terrell, a freshman from Hattiesburg, had a big game for Jones College in a 4-0 win over No. 7 Itawamba. Terrell had one goal and two assists to help Jones to the victory.

WOMEN'S SOCCER GOALIE - Danae Fowler, Jones College, Freshman

Danae Fowler, a freshman from Bay, got the win as Jones beat No. 7 Itawamba, 4-0. She played 79:33 in goal and had one save in the match.
