NJCAA Region 23 Men's, Women's Basketball Tournament Begins Monday

JACKSON, Miss. - The NJCAA Region 23 men's and women's basketball tournaments kick off on Monday, February 27, as teams representing the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) and Louisiana Community Colleges Athletics Association vie for postseason brass. The opening and quarterfinal rounds of the tournament will be hosted by the higher seed, with the semifinals and championship games hosted March 4-5 at Mississippi College.

The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC)  is one of the premier community college conferences in the country and ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of alumni on professional sports teams. 

Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer and tennis.
